Hey guys! So it's been a long time since I've been consistently active on DA, but I'm hoping with all the upcoming cosplay gathers/conventions I'll be going to that I'll be able to post a lot more!

In other news, my absence on DA has been mainly due to the lack of cosplay I've been working on, and both of those things ultimately come down to: College!

I'm just finishing up my first semester in College and wow things have been busy! I'm now part of a Film/Art/Music/Media group called [MES] at my school (we're a brand new group)!

I've been trying to practice photography more and more, so as always check out my flick (which can be found here : www.flickr.com/photos/witschs/ ) to keep up with all of that!

I don't want to go into too much detail about everything that's happened since I last posted, because I'll go on FOREVER, so here are my cosplay updates!

Well I've been really busy since I last updated deviantart. I've neglected this website again, but I've been doing a lot so it's understandable I think (for the most part atleast).

I wont post too much but here is a little update that should cover from January to now:

1) Got one of the 2 Dramafest awards for my school
2) Got into San Francisco State University, San Jose State University, and Sacramento State University! I'm planning on going to SFSU.
3) Currently in Les Miserables at my school. I'm playing Gavroche
4) Currently directing the One Acts 2012 Show at my school & Planning an Improv Show
5) Planning some personal film projects
6) Finally getting back into cosplay since I haven't been to a cosplay event since Sac-Summer 2011..what even.. (Yay Fanime is coming up!)

I'm sure there is more but I'll end the update with that.


COSPLAY NEWS:

I'm going to be working on Fanime Cosplays now! I have 8 or 9 costumes planned, so I have lots of work to do! I'm excited for Fanime, I miss conventions.

Also I'll be attending the NorCal Spring Gathering on Saturday! That shall be fun too.

Wow, have I really not made a journal entry since August?!

Happy Holidays to all my fellow deviants!
A lot has happened in these last few months, and I've been incredibly busy with my senior year, college apps, and all that good stuff. But now since I'm on break, It's only fair that I give a well overdue update.

I want to take a look back on this year. I've had a lot of highlights in 2011.

Here are a few general things:
1) First time at both Sac-Winter and Sac-Summer
2) Met/Got to know some really close cosplay friends (you know who you are)
3) Did lots of shows/plays/acoustic nights at school
4) Completed multiple cosplays and did multiple photoshoots
5) Won my first award in a cosplay masquerade

All in all, I think it was a good year! Though 2011 had it's downs, it definitely had many ups!

I'm just finishing up my first semester of my senior year, which let me tell you, is an exciting but scary thought. I have my finals a week after I get back from Holiday break and then I'm on to my last semester in high school! Which will be an even busier semester..

Anyways, here are the cons I'll be going to in 2012:
1) Sac-Winter Con 2012
2) Fanime 2012
3) Anime Expo 2012 (this is a maybe)
4) Sac-Summer Con 2012

So the past week I've been in Clearlake for family vacation. We leave tomorrow afternoon. For the first year, out of the MANY years we've been going here, I found wireless! ..Actually I found wireless the first day we got here. I've been hiding away from the internet (for the most part) and it's actually been kinda nice. That kind of change is always good once in a while, and it's healthy.
I've only started using the wireless these last two days. I went on deviantart, the only website I really let myself on. I went on facebook twice, but kinda lurked 8D hurhur

ANYWAYS. My vacation has been pretty fun.

But this journal isn't really about it. ._.

HERE ARE A FEW OTHER THINGS I WANT TO BRING UP :

1) My birthday is in four weeks. I'm having a Gathering on July 29th, 2011 from 12:30 to 7 pm at Monopoly in the Parks. The gathering is to celebrate my birthday with all my wonderful cosplay friends, since I love you all so dearly. c: See if you can come! I'd really love it. : D

2) I want to get a half a year long premium membership for Deviantart in the next month by getting point donations! For that short amount of time that I did have one, I loved it, and I truely miss it. ;w; So if you can, please give me donations. Once I get enough points, I'll be working towards getting a membership for someone else!

3) Cosplay project wise I'm currently working on Selphie from Final Fantasy for my gathering, all outfits for Summer Sac, and Parakiss.
